Moray House Trust was honoured to host the launch of Professor Vibert Cambridge’s latest title, Musical Life in Guyana: History of Politics and Controlling Creativity.

Professor Cambridge used the occasion to publicly thank various institutions (including Queens College, The National Library and the National Archives) which had supported the research for this work and to donate copies of his book to them.

Professor Cambridge also recalled: ‘it was an email conversation I had with David de Caires (circa 2003) that launched the 50-article series “Celebrating our Creative Personalities” in Stabroek News (2003-2006)—a crucial phase in research and dissemination process.’
