On a rainy evening in mid-July, Professor Griffith spoke about ‘crime and other quotidian security challenges facing Guyana.’ Deeply committed to the intellectual enterprise, Professor Ivelaw Griffith is a specialist on Caribbean and hemispheric security, drugs and crime. He has published seven books and more than 50 articles in various journals.
