The late Ken Corsbie will perhaps be best remembered in Guyana as part of Dem Two (with Marc Matthews) and All Ah We (with Marc, Henry Muttoo and others). Both of these groups pioneered new forms of performance, giving prominence to local and regional poetry, writing, songs and comic skits. Ken was also an accomplished theatre director and administrator. We will screen a short film, based on a selection of Ken’s interviews and performances.
This screening continues the Samaan Tree Series.
