Maggie Harris, a Guyanese writer living in the UK (www.maggieharris.co.uk), spent her childhood in Berbice. She has been awarded the Guyana Prize twice; for Limbolands (2000) and for Sixty Years of Loving (2014). She will be reading from her published work of poems and prose, including a recent memoir, Kiskadee Girl.
